Ashod Apakian
Developments of this magnitude are always made by more than one person, but the key mind that initiated the process and still heads the development team is Ashod Apakian.

Ashod’s first commercial project in the early ‘80’s was developing computer games on the Commodore platform. He then developed the network protocols for 1900/0055 services. Subsequently he developed the Sphinx FX real time, wholesale trading system and he has, over the last seven years, worked on developing video platforms.

What Ashod has achieved is proving to be basis for the next generation of Video communication and the potential applications are legion. However, there comes a time when skill, imagination and perseverance are no longer enough.

Steve Duchen – Legal Counsel
Steve is a qualified lawyer who worked in the commercial law section at Mallesons before going into investment banking in the capital markets departments of Schroders Australia and subsequently the Allco Finance Group. In recent years, Steve has focused on developing and funding early stage business opportunities.

The development team
In the initial stages, Global IP Video has a great deal to thank the Beta testing community that banded together to help Ashod develop the core technology. Now, thanks to the investment, Global IP Video now has on tap a large team of inhouse developers in addition to the beta test community which still exists for MeBeam. Due to an impressive level of take up by both the corporate and single user communities, the development and management team at Global IP Video is growing fast and set to continue to grow in the foreseeable future.
